So pflegen Sie Ihr Kolostoma

Wenn Sie sich einer Kolostomie-Operation unterzogen haben, müssen Sie einen Stomabeutel verwenden. Ihre Stomatherapeutin wird Ihnen erklären, wie Sie mit Ihrem Stoma und Ihrer neuen Erkrankung umgehen. Mit der Zeit können Sie Ihren Beutel möglicherweise selbstständig verwenden und wechseln, sodass Sie unabhängig sind.

Nach der Operation wird meist ein transparenter Beutel oder ein Beutel mit Sichtfenster verschrieben, um die Positionierung des Beutels und die Untersuchung des Stomas zu unterstützen. Es gibt viele verschiedene Stomaversorgungen. Ihre Stomatherapeutin wird Sie dabei unterstützen, die richtige für Sie und Ihre aktuelle Situation zu finden.

Je nach Lage des Stomas und anderen Faktoren kann die Konsistenz des Stuhls von flüssigem oder halbflüssigem Stuhl bis hin zu gebildetem Stuhl variieren, was sich auch auf die Wahl des Stomabeutels auswirken kann. Bei einem Kolostoma verwenden Sie wahrscheinlich einen geschlossenen Beutel, aber Sie können auch einen entleerbaren Beutel verwenden, wenn er Ihnen besser passt.

Gasbildung und Stoma

Ein häufiges Problem bei Menschen mit einem Stoma ist die Gasbildung.[1] Sie haben vielleicht Angst vor den Reaktionen anderer. Aber keine Sorge, die meisten Kolostomie- und Ileostomiebeutel verfügen über einen Filter, mit dem Gase automatisch und geruchlos entweichen können. Ein solcher Filter ist in der Regel insgesamt mindestens 12 Stunden wirksam. Es kann jedoch durch Flüssigkeiten gesättigt oder befeuchtet werden. Der Beutel bleibt dann durch das Gas aufgeblasen. Dies tritt am häufigsten nach 12 bis 24 Stunden Tragezeit oder am Ende der Nacht auf. Stechen Sie niemals ein Loch in Ihren Stomabeutel, da dadurch sicherlich Gerüche entweichen.

Filter schützen

Um die Leistung des Filters Ihres Stomabeutels zu erhalten ist es wichtig, diesen vor dem Baden, Duschen oder Schwimmen mit einem Schutzaufkleber abzudecken. Die Aufkleber sind der Verpackung beigefügt. Die Anwendung ist einfach. Vergessen Sie nicht, den Filterschutzaufkleber nach der Aktivität wieder zu entfernen.

Flexima® Key Soft convex

Flexima® Key Soft convex is a flexible adhesive two-piece system with a guided coupling system for precise, simple and secure bag positioning on the wafer. The soft convexity of the base plate provides high flexibility which allows the wafer to adapt well to different abdominal contours. With a 6 mm medium depth Flexima® Key Soft convex wafers are designed for flush or slightly retracted stomas to be used with the Flexima® Key closed, drainable or urostomy bags.

Flexima® Key Flat Wafers

Flow Collector

The Flow Collector is a drainable distal collecting bag with long evacuation tubing for high flow liquid stools. Connected to the patient's stoma bag, this 2L collecting bag allows to increase the collecting capacity of high flow liquid stools.
