So pflegen Sie Ihr Urostoma

Bei einer Urostomie entsteht ein kontinuierlicher Urinfluss, und Sie müssen einen Urostomiebeutel verwenden. Ihre Stomatherapeutin wird Ihnen ausführlich zeigen, wie Sie Ihr Urostoma pflegen und Ihnen helfen, einen Urostomabeutel auszuwählen und zu verwenden, welcher am besten zu Ihren individuellen Bedürfnissen passt.

Im Laufe der Zeit werden Sie wahrscheinlich lernen, wie Sie Ihr Urostoma alleine versorgen können, sodass Sie unabhängiger werden. Sie sollten wissen, dass ein Urostoma Sie nicht davon abhalten sollte, einen aktiven Lebensstil zu führen. Wenn Sie zu einem Meeting, einer Party oder einem Abendessen eingeladen sind... mit dem richtigen Beutel können Sie die Veranstaltung in vollem Umfang genießen.

Vielleicht fragen Sie sich, wie oft Sie Ihren Beutel leeren sollten. Dies variiert von Person zu Person, wie es bei Menschen der Fall ist, die normal urinieren. Es kann auch wichtig sein, wie viel Flüssigkeit Sie trinken. Im Durchschnitt müssen Sie Ihren Urostomiebeutel alle zwei bis vier Stunden entleeren. Regelmässiges Entleeren ist wichtig. Es schützt Sie vor möglichen Undichtigkeiten und trägt zur Diskretion bei.

Das könnte Sie auch interessieren: Wenn es sich bei Ihrem Urostoma um ein Ileumconduit handelt, kann der Urinausgang Schleim enthalten. Dieser Schleim wird aus dem Darmsegment abgesondert, das zur Herstellung Ihres Urostomas verwendet wurde. Der Schleim kann abnehmen und manchmal nach einigen Monaten verschwinden, aber er kann auch vorhanden bleiben, unabhängig davon, ob er mit dem bloßen Auge sichtbar ist oder nicht.
